A fire on the territory of the Gizilagaj State Natural Reserve near the village of Balygchilar, Lankaran region, has been extinguished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan said on Saturday morning.
As a result of the fire that broke out in the afternoon on August 27, dry grass and shrubs burned down on an area of 30 hectares. Subdivisions of the State Fire Service and other structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took part in extinguishing the fire. The rest of the territory was protected from fire.
