The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation publishes “Children’s World of Nizami Ganjavi” book

The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, as part of its activities, implements numerous projects to promote Turkic culture. The next project of the Foundation is the publication of the book “Children’s World of Nizami Ganjavi”.

The book includes versions of the works of the great thinker of the Turkic world, the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi, written for children by various authors in different years. These literary pieces created by Abdulla Shaiq, Mir Jalal, Mirmehdi Seyidzade, Mikayil Rzaguluzade and other prominent writers help to present works of educational importance, reflecting high human values of “Khamsa” to the children in a more accessible way.

The head of the publishing project and the author of the foreword to the book is Gunay Afandiyeva, President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. The editor of the book is Farid Huseyn, the consultant is Salim Babullaoglu.

The International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, which engages in activities aimed at worldwide recognition of geniuses who have contributed to the rich literature, music, and art of the Turkic peoples, has published books in various languages and organized events dedicated to the great thinker – Nizami Ganjavi, in order to further study his heritage and bring it to a wide audience. This book, presented to young readers, aims to instill the national and moral values of the Turkic World, as well as the moral qualities inherited from ancestors, to the new generations growing up in modern age.

The collection also includes Nizami’s “Magic Ring”, “Two Artists”, “Seasons of the Year”, “Iskander and the Shepherd”, “Suleiman and the Farmer”, “The Cruel King and the Old Man”, “The Old Brickmaker”, “The Nightingale and the Falcon”, “Good and Evil”, “Nurshiravan and Conversation of Owls” and other famous works.
