On August 29, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with the heads of general educational institutions located in Sumgait city.

During the meeting, mutual opinions were exchanged on the activities of the principals, parent-school relationship and other issues. Also, ideas were voiced in the direction of the current problems and solutions of the education field, the improvement of the quality of education, the work done in this direction and future plans were discussed.

Emin Amrullayev shared his views on new challenges facing schools, school-community relations, factors affecting the learning environment at school, responsibilities of school principals, certification of educators.

At the end of the meeting, many questions of the directors were answered.

During his visit to the city of Sumgayit, the Minister of Science and Education also watched the test exams for the recruitment of tutors-teachers to preschool educational institutions, which were held in comprehensive secondary school No. 31. It was reported that 40 questions related to content and methodology, 20 questions related to pedagogical and psychological approaches were presented to each candidate in the test exams. Candidates have 120 minutes to answer the test questions. At this stage, each of the test tasks related to content and methodology, as well as pedagogical and psychological approaches will be counted as 1 point. A total of 60 points evaluation system will be applied.
