On September 28, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov received the new commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Lieutenant General Gennady Anashkin.

“During the meeting, the situation on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, was discussed.”

The meeting was attended by the first commander of the peacekeepers, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, the press service of the Ministry of Defense said.
