The Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States welcomes the return of the city of Lachin, the villages of Zabux and Sus to Azerbaijan as a continuation of the implementation process of the Tripartite Statement dated November 10, 2020, said Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States in his statement, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

He reiterated OTS’s support and commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of brotherly Azerbaijan, and said that the organization is ready to contribute to post-conflict recovery, reconstruction and reintegration efforts in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

“The OTS supports the importance of diplomatic efforts that will serve peace and stability in the South Caucasus, the return of internally displaced persons to the liberated lands, and the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” said B. Amreyev’s statement.
