The Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy has granted an individual entrepreneur, Elman Allahverdiyev, a preferential loan of 70 thousand manats for his poultry development project in the Lenkoran district. This initiative aligns with the government's focus on supporting the growth of small and medium-sized businesses, as emphasized by Minister Mikail Jabbarov. The poultry industry in Azerbaijan has been making significant strides, with locally produced chicken meat gaining ground over imports. Broiler meat, in particular, has witnessed improvements in both variety and quality, and further progress is anticipated with the introduction of processed products like semi-finished items, catering to consumers seeking convenience and time-saving options. The broiler meat market is experiencing robust development, marked by increasing demand and adherence to established quality standards. Addressing the issue of importing hatching eggs, a joint venture named Azerbaijan Company for Poultry Development has been formed, comprising five state and private enterprises from Azerbaijan and Israel. This collaboration aims to produce high-quality hatching eggs, leading to import substitution. The venture is set to commence production in 2024, with an annual capacity of 18 million tons of eggs
