On July 4, the air temperature in Azerbaijan in some places will reach 42 degrees Celsius, the National Hydrometeorological Service reported.

In Baku and Absheron, the temperature will be 22-26 C at night, 32-37 C in the daytime; the south wind is expected on the beaches of Absheron.

The seawater temperature on the northern beaches of Absheron (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba) will be 24-25 degrees Celsius, on the southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikhovo) is 25-26 degrees Celsius.

According to the medical and meteorological forecast, moderate fluctuations of meteorological factors are predicted on the Absheron Peninsula on July 4-5.

In some northern and western regions of the country, thunderstorms and intermittent rains are expected, hail and a moderate east wind is expected. At night, the air temperature in low-lying areas will be 22-27 degrees Celsius, in the daytime 35-40 degrees Celsius, in some places 42 degrees Celsius. In the mountains, 15-20 degrees of heat is expected at night, 23-28 degrees in the daytime.
