After the coronavirus, relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, especially economic ties, are restored. Our intergovernmental commission is actively working, there are many areas of cooperation.

The statement came from Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, AZERTAC reported.

President Vladimir Putin noted that Russia plans to send an influential delegation to Azerbaijan in the near future, and this delegation will already deal with these issues in Baku. They meet regularly in different places. It will be a mixed group in different directions. Industry, transport, infrastructure and some other issues are considered.

Emphasizing that the two countries are cooperating more actively in the fight against coronavirus, the Russian President said that Moscow and Baku are working to expand vaccine production in Azerbaijan.
