“In order to further aggravate the situation on the state border, the Armenian Armed Forces open fire from mortars and artillery mounts at the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the Lachin region,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a statement. In response, retaliatory measures are being taken, the message says.

In turn, the Armenian side confirms the intensification of firefights with the participation of artillery and armored vehicles.
