On October 26, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a one-day working visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev.

Erdogan and Aliyev will take part in the opening ceremony of the International Airport in the city of Fizuli, liberated from Armenian occupation during the Second Karabakh War in 2020. The leaders of the two countries will also take part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Smart Agricultural Park in Zangilan, which will be built with the support of Turkey.

During the visit, all aspects of bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan will be discussed and steps aimed at deepening cooperation will be considered. The parties exchanged views on current regional and international events will also take place, Anadolu agency reports.
