The zoo is open to visitors after reconstruction

The Baku Zoological Park reopened its doors to visitors after reconstruction. Approximately 450 children from boarding schools and martyr families visited the zoo, Nazaket Isaeva, executive director of the zoo, told reporters.

The zoo will be open daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm. The cost of tickets will be 5 manats for adults and 2 manats for children. For members of the families of martyrs, the entrance to the zoo is free. Reduced tickets can be purchased by veterans and their children, invalids of the Patriotic War, pupils and students. Children under 3 years old can also use free admission.

After the reconstruction, the area of the zoo doubled and reached 4.25 hectares. There are 125 animal species in the park, including 62 in the aquaterrarium.
