Baku: Azerbaijan has a strong voice in the Turkic world, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in his address to the participants of the Turkish World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress in Baku, APA reports. Tokayev noted that Azerbaijan makes a significant contribution to strengthening ties among brotherly nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Tokayev expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for their efforts in fortifying these relationships. The Kazakh leader highlighted the impending construction of the Turkic Civilization Center in Turkistan, which aims to preserve and enhance the historical and cultural heritage of Turkic nations.
"Just recently, together with the leaders of our brotherly states, we took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for this unique center. I believe this initiative will give new impetus to the preservation and strengthening of the historical and cultural heritage of our brotherly peoples," Tokayev emphasized.
