Tokayev orders ambassador to Turkmenistan to prioritize cooperation in numerous areas

ASTANA: The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the newly appointed Kazakh Ambassador to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogayev, the statement from the press service of the President of Kazakhstan said, Trend reports.

During the conversation, Tokayev stressed the importance of further strengthening the bonds of friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership with Turkmenistan.

The head of state set several tasks for Nogaev to develop bilateral cooperation, including in such areas as energy, transit and transportation, trade, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Furthermore, Tokayev ordered to pay special attention to the quality of the content of the upcoming summit negotiations.
