Baku: The total export potential between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan exceeds $1.15 billion, as stated by Mirshohid Aslanov, CEO and co-founder of Uzbekistan's Center for Progressive Reforms (CPR), during the presentation of the 'Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Business Barometer.'
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this potential lays the groundwork for achieving the target set by the leadership of both countries to boost mutual trade turnover to $1 billion. Studies carried out by the Center for Progressive Reforms (CPR) and CASPIA, utilizing ITC Trade Map data, indicate that there is a real opportunity for expanding mutual supplies in over 43 product categories.
The study further reveals that the upper limit of Azerbaijan's unrealized export potential to Uzbekistan is approximately $650 million, spread across 22 key product categories.
