Tourist trips to Shusha begin

Tourist trips to Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, which was liberated from Armenian occupation during the domestic war of 2020, have started.

The State Tourism Agency reports that tours to Shusha will be run once a week from March 18, the eve of the Novruz holiday.

The report says that those wishing to participate in the tour can contact travel agencies (travel agents) from March 6.

The 2 and 3 day tours include visiting the ruins of Fizuli and the Martyrs’ Memorial.

In Shusha tourists will visit the famous plateau of Jydyr Duzu, the Mausoleum of Vagif, the House of Mehmandarovs, the House Museum of Byulbyul, “Yukhari Govkhar Agha” Mosque, “Shusha Fortress”, “Ganja Gate” and the “Khary Bulbul” symbol, “Gazanchi” Church, “Shusha Real High School”.

The tour package includes bus transfer, accommodation with breakfast and guide support.

Note that the cost of 2-day tour is 215 manats; 3-day tour cost is 370 manats
