Two years pass since Tovuz battles today, which ended with victory of Azerbaijani Army. On this occasion, Defense Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan has organized a media tour to the territory where battles occurred in July of 2020 – to the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, APA’s correspondent sent to Tovuz reports.

Media representatives firstly visited military unit #N and viewed the condition created here.

Media representatives closely viewed organization of service and combat activity of personnel, as well as provision of household condition, dormitories, canteens, kitchen, arm room, and bathrooms in the military units.

Tovuz battles are one of the main stages on the way to the Patriotic War, in which Azerbaijan won a glorious Victory. Even today, military personnel of the Azerbaijan Army proudly serve on the state border. Junior sergeant Kamran Guliyev is also a participant in the Tovuz battles: “In the July battles, we did not allow the Armenian army to enter our land. It is an honor for me to serve here. We were not afraid during the battle. If necessary, we are always ready to fight again and become martyrs for the Motherland. Serving in every corner of our country, especially at the state border, is a responsible job. I am proud to stand in defense of the Motherland.”
