Baku: 'Transport corridors are more than lines on a map. They are decisions that will shape people's living standards in the coming decades, even centuries,' said Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, in his remarks at a special session on 'Cities at the heart of connectivity: Urban reconstruction and regional cooperation' held as part of the WUF13. 'Every kilometer of railway and highway built today is a choice about how the future will be shaped. These choices determine the future of societies, as well as economic activity and mind-sets,' Minister Nabiyev stated.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Nabiyev emphasized the crucial role of transport infrastructure in shaping the socio-economic landscape of the future. He highlighted the importance of strategic planning and investment in transport corridors to ensure sustainable growth and development in urban and regional areas.

The discussions also touched on the need for international cooperation to maximize the benefits of transport infrastructure projects.
