Trilateral Agreements Crucial in South Caucasus, Says Russian FM


Moscow: Russia is prepared to aid in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, according to APA’s Moscow correspondent.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized that the situation in the South Caucasus region is a critical topic in ongoing discussions. Lavrov highlighted the importance of regional security in Russia’s involvement in the South Caucasus and reiterated Russia’s readiness to assist in improving Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. He stressed that trilateral agreements are vital, especially in light of the current regional circumstances.
