Baku: 'The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity, or the TRIPP, is a revolutionary project that few people thought was possible before August 8. Thanks to the efforts of President Trump, the TRIPP was a key element that helped overcome obstacles, we believe, to the peace agreement being initialed,' Amy Carlon, U.S. Charg© d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, told AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Amy Carlon emphasized the historic nature of the agreement and the significance of the TRIPP as a multimodal transit corridor. This development connects the main part of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan for the first time in 30 years, promising to enhance both international and interstate connectivity. The project is expected to have a substantial economic impact on the entire region as well as on both countries involved.
The TRIPP project is viewed as a catalyst for regional connectivity, aligning with Azerbaijan's ambition of becoming a central hub for the region. This initiative is anticipated to facilitate improved transit between Central Asia and Western European countries, underscoring its potential to transform the regional landscape.
