Ankara: Azerbaijan and Trkiye are set to enhance their collaborative efforts in combating disinformation, as announced by Burhaneddin Duran, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency. Duran made this statement to APA’s correspondent in Ankara, highlighting the commitment of both nations to address the challenges posed by misinformation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Duran elaborated on the efforts of the Center for Combating Disinformation, which not only tackles issues related to Trkiye but also addresses misinformation concerning allied and neighboring countries, including Azerbaijan. He noted that there is an existing joint platform between Trkiye and Azerbaijan dedicated to this cause, emphasizing the importance of monitoring and countering disinformation collaboratively. Duran underscored the determination of both countries to enhance these efforts, indicating that more effective joint actions are anticipated in the future.
