Ankara: Trkiye is prepared to extend military training support to the Syrian army, following the successful implementation of the Azerbaijan model, stated Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Gler, as reported by APA’s Trkiye bureau. The announcement signals Trkiye’s intention to bolster Syria’s military capabilities by drawing on its experience in providing support to other nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Turkish Defense Minister highlighted Trkiye’s previous engagements in military training with the armies of Azerbaijan, Libya, and Somalia. He stressed that Trkiye aims to replicate this support for Syria, emphasizing the ongoing training activities within Trkiye. Minister Gler expressed Trkiye’s commitment to assisting Syria in its fight against terrorism, indicating a continuation of efforts in this domain.
