Baku: Trkiye has announced its initiative to establish a vocational education institution in Aghdam, a region recently liberated. This project is currently a significant focus, as stated by Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ali Asadov mentioned the robust educational traditions existing between the two nations. Many Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens pursue higher education in each other's countries. However, a challenge arises as some graduates from Azerbaijani universities face difficulties in continuing their education in Trkiye due to non-recognition of their diplomas by Trkiye's Council of Higher Education. Azerbaijan is hopeful for a favorable resolution to this issue. The Deputy Minister of Science and Education is expected to provide further details on the educational collaboration between the two countries.
