Izmir: The 4th Azerbaijan-Trkiye Energy Forum is set to take place in the Turkish city of Izmir, featuring the participation of Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar on August 4.
According to Trend News Agency, the forum will include discussions on a range of topics, including hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, renewable energy, energy efficiency, regulation, and mining. A protocol signing is also on the agenda. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to visit SOCAR’s Aliaga terminal as part of the event.
The Azerbaijan-Trkiye Energy Forum was formed under the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye to enhance strategic energy collaboration. The inaugural Forum took place in Baku on December 21-22, 2021, followed by the second Forum in Istanbul on October 5-6, 2022, and the third in Nakhchivan on September 28-29, 2023.
