Trkiye’s Transport Minister Celebrates Zangilan Airport’s Second Anniversary


ANKARA: Trkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, extended congratulations to Azerbaijan on the second anniversary of Zangilan International Airport’s opening, according to Trend reports. The airport, situated in a region liberated from Armenian occupation, marks a significant milestone in Azerbaijan’s infrastructure development.

According to Trend News Agency, Minister Uraloglu shared his congratulatory message via social media on Sunday, October 20. He highlighted the symbolic importance of the airport’s inauguration, which was attended by the leaders of Trkiye and Azerbaijan. The minister reiterated the strategic importance of civil aviation cooperation in solidifying the ties between the two nations.

Minister Uraloglu expressed optimism about the future prospects of Zangilan Airport, seeing it as a new chapter in Azerbaijan’s development. He also posted a photo of the airport and an image capturing Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the ceremonial ribbon-cu
