Former United States President Donald Trump took legal action on Monday to seek a special review of documents the FBI took from his Florida home earlier this month, APA reports citing Teletrader.
His legal team submitted a lawsuit to prevent the Justice Department from continuing to review the papers until an independent watchdog gets access to them.
It was reported earlier that the FBI may have taken Trump’s documents covered by the attorney-client privilege in the search of his Mar-a-Lago residence.
