The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications has ranked the countries-importers of non-oil products from Azerbaijan over the five months of this year. Turkey has become the leader in the list.

Over January-May this year it exported non-oil goods to Turkey at a total of $390.2 million which makes one third of Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports. During this period, exports to Turkey rose by 53%. Agricultural products and non-oil industrial goods worth $263.4 million were exported to Russia, which is down by 5.8% from the same period in 2021.

The top five importers of non-oil goods from Azerbaijan include Georgia – $74.7 million (+8.1%), Switzerland – $66.4 million (-27.2%) and the United States – $44.5 million (+50.8%).
