“Ankara is closely monitoring the tense situation between Russia and Ukraine and is in favor of maintaining stability in the region,” said Hulusi Akar, Turkish National Defense Minister, APA reports.

“We do not have a separate policy on the regions, we are in favor of peace, we are closely monitoring the tension (between Russia and Ukraine – ed.). We want the situation in the region to remain stable. We respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” said Mr. Akar.
