Turkish Delegation Visits Azerbaijan’s Liberated Territories to Assess Reconstruction Efforts

Baku: As part of a visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Vice Rector of the National Defense University of the Republic of Trkiye, Talat Canbolat, visited the liberated territories and toured a number of historical monuments, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation was provided with detailed information on the destruction and acts of vandalism committed by Armenian armed forces against Azerbaijani civilians. They also received updates on ongoing restoration, reconstruction, and rebuilding efforts in the liberated territories, which are being conducted under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The Turkish delegation engaged with servicemen who shared their memories of the 44-day Patriotic War and other successful military operations. The delegation's visit also included a tour of a military unit where they assessed the conditions created there. They were briefed on the combat path of units that participated in the liberation of Azerbaijani territories and the restoration of the country's territorial integrity.

In accordance with the program, the delegation of the Turkish National Defense University will also visit the Combined Arms Army to further strengthen military ties and cooperation between the two nations.
