Turkish Firm Integrates AI in Azerbaijan Construction Projects

Baku: A Turkish architectural firm, Yes Architects, has announced the integration of artificial intelligence in two of its construction ventures in Azerbaijan. Yeseren Ersan, co-founder of the firm, shared this development at the 'Invision Design Talks 2' forum, highlighting the company's strategic use of AI in their projects.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yeseren Ersan revealed that Yes Architects operates in Baku, Istanbul, and Tashkent, with Azerbaijan hosting the largest share of its project portfolio. The company is involved in significant developments across the country, including residential complexes, hotels, and shopping centers.

Ersan emphasized the increasing role of artificial intelligence in design processes, noting that AI tools have been employed in two ongoing projects in Azerbaijan. In one project, AI contributed to 20% of the design work, while in another, its involvement rose to 50%. This integration of AI is reported to have reduced costs by approximately 10%, with projections suggesting potential savings of up to 80-90% over the next five years.

Despite the advancements AI brings, Ersan pointed out that while it accelerates decision-making, crucial decisions remain human-driven. The 'Invision Design Talks 2' forum, where these insights were shared, was organized by Seranit Azerbaijan in collaboration with 'Sinerji Pro,' with media support from the APA News Agency.
