Baku: Azerbaijan and Trkiye play a major role in the implementation of the Middle Corridor, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister highlighted that one of the projects providing Trkiye with access to the Turkic world is the Zangezur Corridor. He emphasized that the Kars-Dilucu railway, which is a crucial component of this corridor, is scheduled for completion by 2029.

The Middle Corridor is a significant initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity across the region, and the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Trkiye is pivotal for its success. The completion of the Kars-Dilucu railway will facilitate increased economic and cultural exchange between the Turkic states, further strengthening regional ties.
