Turkish President Erdogan Congratulates Azerbaijani President Aliyev on Independence Day

Baku: President of the Republic of Trkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Erdogan expressed his heartfelt congratulations to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. In his letter, Erdogan emphasized the pride Trkiye takes in Azerbaijan’s achievements and highlighted the strong bond shared by the two nations. He noted that Trkiye and Azerbaijan stand by each other in both happy and challenging times, within and beyond the region.

Erdogan remarked on the mutual commitment to further strengthening the high-level relations between the two countries, invoking the spirit of “One nation, two states.” He expressed delight in witnessing the growing brotherly relations and cooperation, which contribute to the common development goals, ultimately making both countries more robust and prosperous.

In closing, President Erdogan wished President Aliyev good health and happiness while extending his best wishes for the welfare and prosperity of the people of Azerbaijan. He reiterated his congratulations on the Independence Day of Azerbaijan.
