Turkish President Extends Warm Wishes to Azerbaijan on Independence Restoration Day


ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has publicly congratulated Azerbaijan on its Independence Restoration Day, expressing deep fraternal ties and shared national sentiments between the two countries.

According to Trend News Agency, Erdogan used his X social media platform to deliver his congratulatory message. His post highlighted the close relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan, emphasizing their bond as “two states, one nation.” Erdogan marked the occasion of October 18 by sending his “most heartfelt feelings” and best wishes to both President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people.

“I convey Turkey’s greetings and cordiality to the President, my dear comrade Ilham Aliyev, and all the people of Azerbaijan,” Erdogan’s message read. This gesture underscores the continued diplomatic warmth and mutual support that characterizes the relationship between the two nations.
