“We regret the US support for the PKK / YPG terrorist organizations in Syria,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said following the G-20 summit in Rome, Italy, APA’s Turkey bureau reports.

Evaluating the one-on-one summits held in the last two days, Erdogan said that he had expressed these views during his meeting with US President Joe Biden.

The Turkish President stressed that he does not hope that the process will continue in this way after the meeting: “We expressed the sorrow of this support in Turkey as a NATO country and said that this issue undermined our solidarity with the United States. In terms of security, we brought up the relations of our defense ministers.”
