Baku: Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz has characterized the relationship between Trkiye and Azerbaijan as distinctly special. 'I'm very glad to visit Azerbaijan again,' Yilmaz shared with journalists during his visit.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Vice President Yilmaz elaborated on the uniqueness of the bilateral ties, stating, 'It is not a typical bilateral relationship, but one grounded in the alliance principles enshrined in the Shusha Declaration.' He referenced the famous words of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, emphasizing the 'One nation, two states' principle as the foundation of their partnership.

Yilmaz further noted the regularity of reciprocal visits, highlighting the strong and shared vision of the heads of state as the cornerstone of the relations between Trkiye and Azerbaijan.
