Turkmen enterprise boosts power transmission lines output

ASHGABAT: Turkmenistan’s ‘Trkmen ýyldyzy’ enterprise produced 2.7 million conventional meters of power transmission lines from January through June this year, Trend reports.

According to official data, the annual production capacity of the enterprise is 5 million conventional meters of power transmission lines.

This company provides various services in the field of electrical equipment, including the design of power plants, overhead and cable systems, major repairs, protection work, testing of electrical equipment and batteries, maintenance of electric motors and transformers, and other services.

Furthermore, the enterprise carried out commissioning and test work at the newly opened 500 kilowatt power plant in the Dashoguz region this year and at a 500 kilowatt step-down station in the city of Gumdag in the Balkan region.

Meanwhile, from January through May of this year, the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan and completed work by 8.5 percent.

Such high rates in Turkmenistan
make it possible to reliably supply industrial enterprises and settlements with electricity, as well as send a certain part of it abroad.

Countries such as Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan are among the consumers of electricity produced in the country.
