Erzurum: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Trkiye Mekan Ishankuliyev met with Governor of Erzurum Province Mehmet Sekmen to explore prospects for strengthening interregional cooperation, Trend reports via Turkmen MFA.

According to Trend News Agency, the meeting took place on September 2, coinciding with the international Erzurum exhibition focused on agronomy and livestock management, with Turkmen diplomatic representatives in attendance. The discussions centered on key areas of collaboration, including agronomy, industrial sectors, cultural exchange, humanitarian endeavors, and tourism. Special emphasis was placed on developing commercial synergies in animal husbandry, identified as a promising avenue for bilateral cooperation.

The discussions also covered the creation of lasting synergies between the business communities of both nations and the possibility of initiating joint investment projects. Strategic initiatives were proposed to enhance cooperation by leveraging the economic strengths of Turkmenistan and Trkiye.
