Baku: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow has conveyed a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in celebration of Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Berdimuhamedow highlights Azerbaijan's rapid development and its significant achievements in various sectors such as the economy, infrastructure, and culture. He emphasized Azerbaijan's influential role in enhancing international cooperation.

The Turkmen President expressed satisfaction with the current state of Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations, which are grounded in good-neighborliness, friendship, and mutual understanding. He noted the dynamic and progressive nature of the bilateral ties and affirmed Turkmenistan's eagerness to continue and enhance close cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

In his letter, President Berdimuhamedow extended heartfelt wishes to President Aliyev, hoping for his continued health and happiness. He also conveyed wishes for peace, welfare, and prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.
