Ashgabat: Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has received a delegation led by Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, APA reports. The meeting took place during the Azerbaijani delegation's visit to Turkmenistan for the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Jabbarov shared details of the meeting on his X account, highlighting the significance of the discussions. He noted that the close friendship between the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, along with President Berdimuhamedov's recent visit to Azerbaijan, has provided fresh momentum to the bilateral relations between the two nations.

The discussions between the Turkmen President and the Azerbaijani delegation emphasized diversifying business partnerships, promoting joint initiatives, and strengthening regional economic and trade cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on how to further these objectives, aiming to enhance the economic ties and collaborative efforts between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
