ASHGABAT: The chairman of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency (Turkmen Communications), Khadzhimyrat Khudaiguliyev, discussed the prospects of partnership in the space industry with a high-ranking delegation of the French Airbus company, Trend reports.

According to the official source, at meetings of the leadership of the communications department of Turkmenistan with representatives of Airbus, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world and a leading developer of telecommunications solutions for the aerospace and transport industries, prospects for cooperation and the implementation of joint projects, including in the space sector, were discussed.

The Turkmen side noted that cooperation with Airbus opens up unique opportunities for Turkmenistan in the field of space, and in the international context, the development of the space industry plays an important role, and Turkmenistan, having become a reliable partner of the largest companies, is ready to actively introduce advanced technologies and promot
e space research in the region and the world.

The parties expressed their willingness to cooperate and stressed the importance of long-term strategic partnership in the field of space technologies, while noting that this meeting marks an important stage in the development of Turkmenistan’s space industry and strengthens its status as an active participant in international space programs and research.

Meanwhile, cooperation between Airbus and Turkmenistan extends to various fields, including aviation, the space industry, and infrastructure projects.
