Ashgabat: Specialists from the Turkmennebit state concern have successfully explored substantial gas condensate deposits at the Nogai field, achieving a production volume of 11 tons per day.
According to Trend News Agency, the exploration at a depth of 2,750 meters revealed reserves of 262.8 cubic meters of gas, accompanied by significant condensate deposits. The success of this exploration was greatly aided by the ZJ-70-DS drilling rig, supplied by China, which showcased high efficiency in penetrating challenging rock formations, facilitating the discovery of these deep gas and condensate deposits.
This outcome not only highlights the potential of Turkmenistan’s subsoil but also underscores the effective execution of the state program aimed at boosting hydrocarbon production. Additionally, Turkmenistan is actively pursuing exploration and development in other promising areas, such as the North Goturdepe and Altygui fields, to further solidify its presence in the global energy market.
Further achievements
by Turkmen drillers include the recent opening of new oil and gas wells at the Goturdepe field, with a daily oil flow rate of 13 tons, and the Barsagelmez field, producing at a rate of 12.9 tons per day.
