TURKPA Observers Visit International Turkic Academy in Kazakhstan

Astana: On 16 March, a delegation of TURKPA international observers, who had been monitoring the constitutional referendum in Kazakhstan, visited the International Turkic Academy. During their visit, the President of the International Turkic Academy, Shahin Mustafayev, introduced the guests to the Academy's museum exhibition, which showcases the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples. Mr. Mustafayev provided an overview of the Academy's activities, detailing ongoing scientific projects and international initiatives aimed at fostering unity.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussion focused on enhancing scientific and cultural-humanitarian cooperation within the Turkic world. The significance of Kazakhstan's constitutional referendum was noted, emphasizing its role in strengthening democratic institutions and contributing to the stability and cooperation of the Turkic region.

The delegation praised the Academy's work, highlighting its role in studying Turkic history, language, and culture. To mark the occasion, Mustafayev presented the visitors with the Academy's latest scientific publications, symbolizing ongoing academic partnership.

The group of observers included Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Malahat Ibrahimgizi, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye Osman Mesten, Secretary of the delegation and representative of the Department of Foreign Relations and Protocol of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye Krsat Melih Sariarslan, Members of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Naila Asgarova and Elmira Azizova, as well as Secretary of the TURKPA Commission Aynura Abutalibova.
