On February 19, an avalanche occurred near the village of Khnatsakh in the Syunik region of Armenia around 7:40 p.m., APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

As a result of an avalanche, a UAZ car belonging to the Armenian Defense Ministry rolled into a ravine, and two servicemen died.

Two other soldiers who sustained injuries of various degrees were admitted to the garrison hospital.
