Baku: Two Azerbaijani judokas progressed to the final of the European Judo Championships Juniors Podgorica 2026 held in Montenegro. Aykhan Mirzazade, competing in the 60kg category, and Mahammad Musayev, in the 66kg category, have advanced to the final rounds, where they will compete for gold medals.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the championship has attracted a total of 400 judokas from 44 countries. This includes 222 boys and 178 girls who are contending in the event scheduled to run until September 5.
