Baku: Two Azerbaijani soldiers, Hamidov Ruslan Rustam and Imanov Ali Tariyel, were caught in an avalanche while returning from their duty station in the Gadabay region. This incident occurred under foggy weather conditions, as reported in a joint statement by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijan Army, alongside the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a contractor company from the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, has launched search operations despite the challenging weather. The search efforts are taking place in a mountainous area with difficult terrain, involving specialized forces, equipment, and resources.
