Kyrgyz athletes in Greco-Roman wrestling Akzhol Makhmudov and Zholaman Sharshenbekov won gold medals at the international Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov rating tournament in Bulgaria.

Makhmudov (77 kg) has been participating in the tournament since the 1/16 finals. He made it to the final, defeating four athletes.

In the final, he defeated the Armenian wrestler with a score of 1:1 (whoever gets the last point wins).

Zholaman Sharshenbekov (60 kg) competed from the 1/8 finals. In the final, he secured a clear victory for himself by putting a Polish wrestler on the shoulder blades.
