Baku: A delegation led by Abraham Hamadeh, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, visited the Alley of Martyrs in Baku, Azerbaijan. The visit took place on June 17, during which the delegation paid tribute to the memory of the individuals who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The delegation laid fresh flowers at the graves, as reported by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation also took the opportunity to view the panorama of Azerbaijan's capital from the highest point in Baku. They were briefed on the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the ongoing beautification and construction works in the city.
The delegation was accompanied by protocol officers and other officials throughout the visit.
