New York: Main indexes of world stocks show a mixed performance with gains in the U.S. markets and declines in European markets. On March 7, in the U.S. stock market, the S and P 500 index increased by 0.55% to stand at 5,770.20; the Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.70% to 18,196.22, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average recorded an increase of 0.52% to 42,801.72.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, European stock markets experienced a downturn on March 6, with France’s CAC 40 decreasing by 0.94% to 8,120.80 points, the FTSE 100 slightly decreasing by 0.03% to 8,679.88, and Germany’s DAX falling by 1.75% to 23,008.94.
In global markets, the exchange rate of the euro against the dollar has increased by 0.45%, reaching 1.0833 dollars.
