Baku: The International Cyclist Union (UCI) has announced the calendar of international competitions for the 2026 season.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the calendar includes the Azerbaijan cycling race, scheduled to take place from May 10-14 next year.

From this year forward, the race will be known as the “Baku-Khankendi” and will consist of five stages, classified under the 2.1 category of the International Cyclist Union. The first stage of the race will cover the Baku-Sumgayit route, followed by the Baku-Shamakhi-Ismayilli route in the second stage. The third stage will see participants cycling the Gabala-Sheki-Gabala route, while the fourth stage will traverse Gabala-Mingachevir-Ganja. The final stage will cover the Naftalan-Fuzuli-Shusha-Khankendi route.
