BAKU — The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has imposed a fine of £2,500 on the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) following a disciplinary breach during a European Championship qualifying match in Baku. The incident occurred after the Azerbaijan women’s national football team suffered a 5-0 defeat against Hungary.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, unauthorized individuals entered the field after the match concluded, prompting UEFA’s disciplinary action against AFFA. The fine underscores UEFA’s strict enforcement of regulations aimed at maintaining order and security during football events.
