According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event also saw Brazil's Jean Matsumoto defeating Kazakhstan's Bekzat Almakhan by unanimous decision. Ukraine's Daniil Donchenko stopped Sweden's Theodor Berggren in the second round, showcasing a strategic display of skill.

Australia's Turkish-born Kaan Ofli submitted Colombia's Javier Reyes with a choke in the opening round. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's Nursulton Ruziboev achieved a first-round submission victory over Russia's Andrey Pulyaev.
